Freed-Hardeman Christian College
B.S. Elementary Education/Library

I have been the librarian at Rhema for 15 years.  I attended Freed-Hardeman Christian College in Henderson, TN, majoring in elementary education and library.  It has been my great joy to serve in this ministry, and I pray that a wonderful love for reading has been placed in the hearts of many students who have passed through Rhema.

Our school library is decorated with the theme of the creation of the world.  It is filled with books of all sorts and sizes, and we are now home to over 10,000 volumes!  We feature accelerated readers for students reading in all grades, and many are Christian authored and published.  In our library, students can find what they will need to complete projects, homework assignments, goals, AND they can find a great book to curl up with and read!  We are also proud to be the home of "Katie's Korner", which is a special bookcase filled with books donated in memory of former student Katie McElearney by her family.
