Inclement Weather Plan
Announcements relating to the cancellation, delay, or early dismissal of our school will be broadcast on KDKA, WPXI, and WTAE television, radio and websites. Delay or cancellation announcements are usually listed by 6:00 AM. The public school busses will operate according to the delayed or regular schedule of that school district. If the district in which the student lives is closed, there will be no bussing in that district. However, if the student's safety is not in jeopardy, and we are having classes, please try to attend school if transportation is available. Otherwise, the student will be marked absent.
Modified Early Childhood Schedule
The inclement weather will soon be upon us with school delays and closings. We will follow the modified time schedule.
For the two hour delay:
Pre-School 10:00am – 12:00pm
Pre-K (AM) 10:00am – 12:00pm
Pre-K(PM) 1:00pm – 3:00pm
AM Kindergarten 10:00am – 12:00pm
Full Day Kindergarten 10:00am – 3:05pm
Bussing will be according to your school district’s schedule. If they do not provide bussing, you will be responsible to bring and pick up your child. Hopefully, this will help keep our program on track during the snowy months.
