Raising up Godly leaders

It is a joy to introduce Mrs. Taylor Bair as the new Spanish teacher at Rhema Christian School. Señora Bair is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a major in Early Childhood Education, minor in Special Education, and ESOL certification. She also is certified to teach Spanish grades K-12. She has taught Spanish in many different settings such as tutoring High School students and teaching Kindergarten in Costa Rica. Recently, she went to Ecuador where she taught English at the University of Cuenca. Then she taught 5th grade math in a bilingual classroom at San Jose Elementary in Jacksonville, Florida. Her experiences in multiple Hispanic regions make her knowledgeable in both the language and culture.

With a great passion for Spanish, she enjoys teaching the language and inspiring children each day by being a positive, Christian role-model. She believes that learning a foreign language is essential for the future and facilitates learning in other subjects. Teaching world culture is one of her favorite parts about being a Spanish teacher. She implements fun, authentic learning experiences into the classroom and creates an encouraging environment for children where their faith, hope, and love may grow in Him and with each other. God is incorporated into daily activities through group prayer, academic games, and biblically-integrated stories. As a previous Kindergarten teacher at Rhema, she holds a strong connection and understanding with the school’s mission and core values.

She recognizes that she is called to teach Spanish in a Christ-centered environment and guide children to be Godly leaders.

Señora Bair lives in Moon Township with her husband. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends as much as possible and are blessed to be a part of Crossroads Church. Some of her favorite hobbies include dancing, traveling, gymnastics, horseback-riding, and teaching aerobics and Zumba. As a devoted Christian who has experienced God’s love and grace, she desires that everyone would gain hope and peace through the Lord, Jesus Christ.
