MRS. MARY ANN WOLFE – MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE / DEAN OF STUDENTS
When Mrs. Wolfe graduated from Grove City College, she knew that her learning was not complete. After working in the business world and starting a family, she earned her master’s degree in education at Duquesne University. Mrs. Wolfe desires to share her love for learning and holds a PA teaching certificate along with ACSI certification. Being a Christian example for students is very important to Mrs. Wolfe while she encourages them to grow to become independent learners. Middle School Science is where God’s truth is interwoven with the curriculum. An introduction to earth and physical science will promote investigation in God’s world during fifth grade. Sixth grade focuses on general science with overviews of living things, earth science, and energy in motion. Life science is the basis for the seventh grade studies which includes cells, genetics, and plant kingdoms. Eighth grade investigates physical science with an introduction to chemistry and physics. Critical thinking is promoted through scientific inquiry and hands-on activities. Mrs. Wolfe and her husband are blessed with two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. She enjoys spending time with family and friends along with boating, traveling, cooking, and photography.
