Raising up Godly leaders

I have the privilege and blessing of teaching Physical Education and Health at Rhema. I have a passion for biblical integration through physical education and athletics. My undergraduate degree is in Health and Physical Education (PA Teacher Certified) and is from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I was also a Division II collegiate athlete at Edinboro in cross-country, indoor track and outdoor track. My graduate degree is in Sports Performance and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. My previous experience includes teaching health and physical education in the public high school setting for four years. I then became the strength and conditioning coach and assistant basketball coach at Geneva College for four years.

Following this stint the Lord was calling me to be at home with our oldest, Natalya, as we were also expecting our second child, Jenavieve. Soon after our third child, Finnegan, arrived. In this time frame my husband, Adam, and I were very involved in church ministry at our home church, The Bible Chapel- Robinson.

All three of our children attend Rhema, and have been part of the Rhema family since 2013. The intention was to use the preschool program for social integration and then homeschool. As our involvement in the school increased we quickly realized that Rhema was like no other. Truly training children to serve and love our Lord and Savior. I learned this school exist for so much more than educational purposes.

One of my favorite verses is, “Whatever you do work wholeheartedly for the Lord, not for men…” Colossians 3:23. This verse pertains to everything I do and what I teach our students and student athletes to do in an athletic or competitive setting.
